Unfortunately in 2017, this hotel was the site of the worst shooting in American history. A man staying at the hotel fired shots from his 32nd floor room towards the music festival in parking lot across the street.

The hotel has since renumbered the floors and completely sealed off this room, making sure nobody would ever stay in there again. Even after this event, people continue to love this resort for its fun experiences and incredible rooms.
